Exploring the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River – A Colorado Canyon

We decided to stop by the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River and explore this beautiful canyon. There’s plenty of options for recreation here like: kayaking, fishing, and camping. During other years of higher flow, you might even be able to find some cliff jumping spots or whitewater rafting routes. However, due to the dry winter in this part of Colorado, neither of those was an option for us when we were there.
